University of Sheffield 新成立的 Sheffield Tomography Centre 剛剛與來自 Industrial Doctorate Centre  (IDC) 的第一作者 Marius Monoranu 合作發表了一篇論文，通過顯微CT研究了對碳纖維強化聚合物 (Carbon-fiber-reinforced polymers, CFRPs)進行切割制造的損傷，揭示了這些材料的切割損傷以及如何減少此類損傷。研究人員使用 Dragonfly 對使用 Zeiss Versa XRM采集的三維圖像數據進行 3D分析與可視化。
